In February 2005, I began working at a legendary concert hall in Toronto, where I met Christopher Felske, frontman and co-writer for the project Radius and Helena. Beyond their soaring, cosmically tempestuous art rock lie much more visual and literary aesthetics, which are embedded in a multiplicity of traditions, from filmic expressionism to sly absurdist diatribes. As the band is already steeped in almost ritualistic visual conduct, it is additionally flattering to have been asked/allowed to continue to make posters for their shows. 2008 will see the release of more recorded material from the band, which will be accompanied by a launching ceremony at a prestigious location near to us in the future.
