Honestly, Reptiles

Late in 2005, I became terrified of large art. Anyone who is or has been an artist will understand this fear. To combat it, I undertook a vow to create a series of the smallest artwork I could then muster, whilst still pertaining to a classically derived aesthetic. In retrospect I see how incredibly large the art still is, not nearing the acute details of artists like Olia Mishchenko and others. Measuring in at 2.5 by 3.75 inches, the 40 page book was printed in a self-created run of 50 copies, including 4 special "blue" copies. Of that number only 5 remain, gathering dust on my shelf. Small art, I am told, ages like cheese; it ages like wine. It is my intent that the next publication I essay will be smaller and even more aged than the former attempts, which are detailed on the pages that follow.
