Salacanthour (Exquisite
Locks)
Mortesecondis Celius
Sharing many characteristics
with both fungi and sea anemones, the Exquisite Locks is
an anomalous organism.
Twisting its fleshy tendrils along the ground, it seeks out
nutrients in the surrounding soil. When the soil is depleted
of what its looking for, its tendrils continue to grow outwards.
This process continues throughout the entities life with no
definitive limit. When the Salacanthour does eventually die,
its rubbery body melts back into the ground -its meats and
fluids finally replenishing the soil below. The largest Salacanthour
on record was 220 feet in diameter.
