Cleoptera
Lepidoptera Vampira

This Devonian period relic has held genetic endurance due to its near flawless design. So fluid is every motion of the Cleoptera that one scarcely can believe that it is moving through the air, and not some more viscous fluid. For these elegant traits it is sometimes referred to as the "Cleopatra Bird", although this label would be misguided as Cleoptera is genetically dissimilar from all birds, and resembles more closely a member of the insect family, with some reptilian characteristics.
